A complete machine-intelligence service, configured for each site.
Robometic brings together sensing, software, machine analysis, dashboards and engineering support. We combine our own methods with technology from selected partners, and configure each deployment for the machines, the site and the systems it has to work with.
What a deployment includes.
Each part can be used on its own or as part of the full service, and each can sit inside a partner's own offer.
- Sensing
- Vibration, sound and temperature sensing for rotating machines, fitted by a repeatable method and chosen for readings that can be repeated. Where a site already uses sensors, those can often be connected.
- On-site and cloud software
- Processing close to the machine, with cloud or fully on-site operation. What leaves the site, and how, is agreed with each plant and its IT team.
- Machine analysis
- Signal-quality checks, operating-state recognition, change detection against each machine's own normal behaviour, health indicators and diagnostic guidance.
- Dashboards, notices and reports
- A view of machine health across the site, reviewed amber notices to the people who need to act, and a one-page report per machine. See a sample report.
- Integration
- Results delivered to maintenance systems, dashboards and partner applications, using established industrial interface standards where they fit.
- Deployment and support
- Site walk, installation, training, verification and ongoing support, by Robometic or by a local partner working to our written procedures.
How it is designed.
Works beside what is already there
Nothing on the machine is replaced, and nothing connects to the control system unless the plant decides it should. Robometic adds information to the readings and alarms a plant already has.
The evidence travels with the result
Every result carries the machine, the measuring point, the operating state and whether the signal passed its check. Anyone who reads a notice can see why it was raised.
People decide
A notice is a prompt to look, with the evidence and the recommended checks attached. The people who know the machine review it and record what they found, and their findings improve the method.
Alongside your safety systems
Robometic works alongside safety systems, machine protection and existing alarms, never in place of them, and it is not used for safety-critical decisions.
Machine data belongs to its owner
Machine data from a plant stays the plant's. It is used for that plant's work and to adjust the method to its machines. Any other use needs the owner's written agreement, including how the plant is identified, if at all.
Readings you can trust.
A reading is only useful if it can be repeated and explained. Every deployment follows the same discipline.
Defined acceptance
Testing and acceptance criteria are agreed for each application, including checks against known changes where they are needed.
Site commissioning
Fitting, signal stability, operating-state recognition and the review process are confirmed on each machine before monitoring begins.
Long-term review
Notices are compared with what inspections and repairs actually find, so that the method improves on each machine over time.
Privacy and safety.
- Monitoring of workers
- Robometic measures machines, not people. Sound sensing keeps summary measurements rather than recordings where people may be speaking.
- Safety-critical decisions
- These stay with the plant's own safety systems and the people responsible for them.
